Saturday we slept in, went to the gym and ran errands and whatnot. Later that night we went to one of my favorite places, the Fourth Street Filling Station where my friend Meredith had a surprise birthday party for her boyfriend Chad. Chad thought he was meeting Meredith there for a surprise party for her aunt. Needlness to say he was shocked and his reaction was hilarious. Good times!

It was yet another lovely weekend, just not nearly long enough. Then again, I guess they never are. Even Sophie had a hard time getting up this morning.
This is one of the longest weeks teachers and students have all year...the dreadful EOG week! Thankfully it's a short one for me. Chicago bound on Friday!!
